Two sisters
Friends since we were young and now BEST friends and SISTERS for life. <3
Hmmm…where to start?
We first met each other in middle school. We hung out with a lot of the same people, but often not together. It took about a year of being acquaintances before we were friends enough to visit each other outside of school.
The years passed, and we had our ins-and-outs…changing friends and starting high school…
each leading their own path.
each leading their own path.
Eventually, the time came that we were hanging out with the same people again.
By our senior year in high school, we were much closer…hanging out with each other and two other girls almost every day. Just before prom, our little group had a fall out…and in the end, it was just the two of us left as friends. We spent nearly all of our extra time together.
At the end of high school, I (Neomi) started dating David (my lovebird…Sarah’s brother).
This created some tension in our friendship, but being family ultimately kept us together.
((Our little family has grown to 5 now; my hubby and I, our son Luke,
our puppy Jade, and our kitties Tinker & Bella.))

A few steps down the timeline, Sarah met Samuel…her perfect 50:50 match.
They fell in love, married and started building a family of their own.
((Now up to 4; Sarah and Samuel, and their puppies Kesik & Kaiya.))

Over the years, we’ve gotten close, and lost touch…always family, but not always the best of friends. Incredibly, what has brought us together is distance.
Sarah and Samuel joining the Coast Guard and moving away really brought things into perspective.
We realized that the little things we bicker over don’t matter. What matters is FAMILY.

2,422 miles apart, and we’re closer than we’ve ever been before.
We are BFF’s and Sisters…forever. J <3
